Athletics Day!

On October 29th  Victoria Aveune School had an Athletics Day!!! and 
we went with year 3-6's at  Millinuim Staduim in Rosedale. We did  
Long Jump Finals, Sprint Finals boys and girls, 100m Sprint's and 80m Sprints., but sadly :( we din't get to finish it was poring with rain and so we had to leave. 

On Thursday the Victoria Avenue School Year 6 went down to 
Saint Kentigern's School for boys to finish of our athletics. First of 
all the boys did the 80m sprint it was Intents!!!!! first Flynn was in 
front then Nicky then Flynn then Nicky, but in the end Nicky won. 
Then it was time for the girls 80m sprint When Miss Gibson told
everyone to be quite THAT was the hardest part!!! I wanted to 
Cheer for Elizabeth and Amelia  sooo soooo soooooo BAD!!! I was 
about to EXPLODE!!!!  I had enough on being quite I'm LOUD and 
that's the way it should be unless Miss McDonald tells me to be 
quite. But now it was time for the house relay the girls went first 
they all were very fast!! You couldn't even see them like Usain 
Bolt,but the girl type. Now its was the boys Ummmm they weren't 
that fast the girls could have done better =D It looked like Karaka 
was going to win, in the end Pohutakawa ened up winning, but in seconed pleace was  Karaka   third place Koromiko and in fourth place Kowhai
