Sarah Walker (Home Learing)
For Home Learing we had to wirte a littie bit about one of a New Zealand Athletes
and so I did mine on Sarah Walker
Sarah Walker she is from New Zealand and loves and lives BMX. She started racing at the age of 10(start of 1999).From then Sarah has been to more than 15 countries!!!!
She lived out of a suitcase for the last four years.
She finished runner up at the 2007 World Championships in Canada and won the cruiser class word title in her first year as an elite.In 2009 Sarah won the BMX World Championship in Adelaide in the Elite Women events.
In the 2010 BMX World Championship in South Africa, Sarah came in second place in the Elite Women. At the 2012 games in London she won a sliver!!! At such a young age 24!!!!

Well done Leva. As you get older Olympics dreams become harder and harder... maybe 24 for an athlete isn't that young? I can't imagine someone my age getting on a BMX and winning a silver medal!
